Oh yes, its that time of the year again... the Christmas Season. Its safe to say have been waiting for this season since last Christmas season. But let's be honest, you know you have been too. I have few things on my mind for my personal wish list, but I also have a few gift ideas in mind for my friends and family. You can never go wrong with beauty and makeup products for Christmas... I mean have you ever been unhappy with a gift from Sephora?? I didn't think so.
Speaking of Sephora, I have come to find that the have the best little gifts for the season. They are selling a few sample boxes of mascara, perfume, and bestsellers.I think the Lashstash box is my top favorite of the three. The perk of the Lashstash box is that you can try eight top-rated mascaras to discover which one is worth the splurge. Nothing is more annoying than buying an expensive mascara only to find that you hate it... and this gift box solves that tedious issue.
Speaking of splurging... recently I decided to purchase the Josie Maran Argan Oil. My biggest problem in the winter months is dry skin... it always has been. I have learned to hate using thick creams because 1) it feels too heavy on my skin and 2) it tends to clog my pores. A face oil is great because it doesn't feel heavy or thick on your face, and I have not been breaking out when I use it. I use the product day and night, and my skin has never been softer and without dry skin patches! Its basically a miracle. The Josie Maran Oil is also a multipurpose oil... so you can use it on dry cuticles or split ends to cure the dry spell. if the regular argan oil makes your skin too oily, they offer a Light Argan Oil which is even more lightweight than the original.
Becca Cosmetics has been taking the beauty world by storm recently. Their Shimmering Skin Perfecter adds the perfect amount of neutral glowy shimmer to any complexion. Sephora has a Shimmering Skin Perfecter Opal Glow on the Go Set which is a perfect and inexpensive gift set. It comes with the pressed powder shimmer, as well as a liquid luminizer for those who prefer a liquid formula.
When it comes to improving your complexion, sheet masks have been this season's go to. I have heard really good things about Sephora's sheet masks (plus they are only six bucks!). They have a multitude of different options, from brightening and perfecting, to ant fatigue and energizing. Sheet masks are cool and all, but nothing beats a classic creamy mask. I recently tried the Mario Badescu Super Collagen Mask. After using the mask, I immediately noticed a difference. I felt as if life was brought back to my complexion... as well as a surge of moisture. Mario Badescu offers a few other types of masks such as a Azulene Calming Mask and a Cucumber tonic mask. Each one is $20, but during the winter months, finding a quality and nourishing face mask is an absolute must.
